Once in awhile I see a fox around here. Crossing a road in the night usually. Not often but maybe a couple per year. There are some big grown-over areas by highway interchanges that seem conducive to some larger life forms. Sometimes there is a fox.

The tail gives them away. My thought when I see one is generally, "Huh, that's cool." I don't think I have ever spotted one other than in my car. If I ever came face-to-face with one on foot I might not think it's so cool. There would be an initial uncertainty about what-the-fuck happens now?

I imagine a fox would probably be scared shitless of me but who knows?

Those were my first thoughts on seeing this thread title.

Yeah but no. Go sports.

Tottenham loses or draws tonight in the London derby against Chelsea and Leicester is the champion

What is the big deal with this Leicester rj?

I'm gonna start watching more football probably, the flow of the game and the scenery is appealing to me. There's somekind of football news show that they've been showing in the casino that I've been enjoying glancing at (with no sound).

I still have to laugh at these uniforms though. I see that English world cup forward from years ago still playing, (don't remember name) running around with the Chevrolet cross in the center of his uniform.

So one team is called Chevrolet and the other Fly Emirates :sparesomecutter: How does this jive? I like to know the thought process of why this isn't considered insulting.

It's a small team with tiny budget beating all the big clubs, team goes back more than 100 years and have never won anything besides the lower leagues to win promotion, 2 seasons ago they were playing in the second division

they did it

Never heard of this club at beginning of year and thought for sure eventually would drop down in the standings, but never did! How much money will the club get for Champ League qualifying! Lots!

Saw kinda sis-in-law (cousin's wife) just yesterday and she mentioned them being so close to her being she was an Aston Villa fan growing up in Birmingham area!

A good manager from the CORRECT country sure helps!

Listening to some sports talk radio this morning, this subject came up. At one point they talked for 15 minutes straight about how there is nothing to compare it to to make North Americans sports observers understand.

So I don't know. I feel like I understand something but maybe I'm all wrong. I don't know.

:dunno:

Muddy, if at all interested, everything that went down from the beginning of this unexpected outcome!

there almost isn't anything. i mean maybe like if the browns won the super bowl next year, but even then the playoffs are just 3 games and they have the same salary cap as everyone. it's probably the biggest upset ever and it took place over almost 40 games not something like one golf/tennis tourney.

the media coverage of the gambling angle is fking retarded though. will hill pays out 2M on Leceister therefore they took a 2M loss is the story everywhere. really? what about the money they took on the other 19 teams? how many millions was that
