Just seems like I can get better odds, and the whole phoning my bets in every fuckin day was getting real old.

Started with a little over 2K so let's see how this goes.

I did a small stint with Bookmaker a while back but the lines are terrible. Bad fave line, bad dog lines, etc.

The nice thing is my local uses scoresandodds.com which is never even close to accurate so I can hedge away depending on what they are offering by phoning in a bet then placing an online wager when the situation presents itself. For instance, right now S&O has Pitt -4.5, and 5Dimes has -6. Play it at -4.5 with the local and buy points on the other side online and hope for a middle.

I have heard good and bad about this book-would like to hear any poster stories form the board if you've played through them.

My goal in one year is to do this gambling thing semi-professionally. I've been told at least 30K start up and no debt. Any pros with advice, sling it my way.
 
5dimes good a choice as any... if you bet a lot of dogs/fade public, some money in bovada wouldnt be a bad idea either

fwiw, i wouldnt worry about playing both sides unless the middle involves a key# ... i figure you know this, just a reminder

you might be right though... no idea how fast they would shut down a 50-200 player betting nothing but dogs... bigger player is out the door fast, agree

ya know, 5dimes is actually okay with some people hitting the alternate lines, from what i understand( durito, probably wouldnt get more than a few in)... tony allowed poster, Rake, to run up over 125k there ...betting nothing but nfl and mlb alt lines(aybe some nba, cant remem)... of course tony didnt cut him off because he knew he would get it back... and he did for the most part... in about 5-6 plays...:lol:

tony will not shut down anything these days unless you are shot taking, he will limit to 20% if he thinks you are good.

talk to pancho... he seems to think he is right...i got no opinion on any of it... i thought he said ganch would judge? did ganch tell thremp that he wouldnt?

you must first change your entire betting strategy and take a lie detector test and prove to me that you agree that the Pts. and Juice dont matter.. then we will need to do some blood work and well... NO... asshole! :robyn:
