What a calamity of a race. The one time i fade Webber off the line he goes and has a stellar race. Good on the guy.

Poor Schuni, that accident before the 1st corner really did put him at a disadvantage.

Still, was a awesome race to watch. Wouldve given updates but phone died and had no comp where we were watching from...

hardly had been outside the capital since coming so i borrowed a car and went loopy

xp, didn't track it but put $45 in the tank 3 times, i still have a little bit left

first was just going to leon but then i went to that finca i mentioned last week, then diriamba that's a very nice chilled mountainous area, and on and on

yea no drivers.

she went to driving school 2 years ago. then she was supposed to practice with her brother in my car, but they only went like twice. she says she isn't capable of driving a stick shift.

i took her out driving around in an automatic in colorado in my parents neighborhood. she did just fine. of course we passed no cars, only deer.

so she wants a car. i'm not having 2 cars though. thinking about trading mine in for an automatic. renault sandero. it's the cheapest one. then she can have that. and she can take emily to school and do grocery shopping etc.

i will take the bus here everyday to work.

Especially in traffic.

I love road trips.

My parents used to take us out to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, etc. on road trips every summer as a kid.

I'd like to revisit some of those areas eventually.

Especially in traffic.

All the "cheap" (still costs way more than usa versions) cars here are manual transmissions. Probably 80% or more of the cars on the road have them. The traffic here is worse by the day and the whole city is built on the sides of mountains, so it really is a pain in the ass and I can understand why my wife is afraid to drive one. You will come to a stop going straight up hill with crazy buses and motos around you several times a day.

Yeah. Stopping at inclines is definitely a bitch too. Especially when some asshole gets right on your ass.
