or am I the only one?

Dude, in his second game, set a new single game record last night. $77,000. His first game was damn impressive too. (About 40K I think ??)

He's a fun player too. Likes to gamble big on Daily Doubles and Final Jeopardy. Atta boy. He even has a sports name, Roger Craig.

Is it too early to start thinking about Ken Jennings? Probably. This guy is really good but Ken Jennings was a complete freak. My hunch is this guy won't rattle off 70 consecutive wins. His gambling style may backfire on him at some point.

But these are exciting times for me and my Jeopardy homies.

Used to all the time 10-18 years ago. Could rattle off answers at a respectable rate. Nowadays when I catch it, I hit at an awful clip.

Anyone who says that drugs and alcohol don't dumb you down is wrong. Me stupid now.

I think I'm with the majority of the population in that I only stop to watch Jeopardy when it's covering a topic I know well. When I'm done besting the contestants on XIXth century literature or some cupcake French shit I quickly flip the channel before they tackle Greek mythology or some other scary topic.

Jeopardy legend in my own mind. :headbanger:

I have enough reminders in my daily life just how inadequate I am and I don’t need a game show just needlessly rubbing it in my face. So no Muddy, I don’t watch Jeopardy. It’s brainiac porn.

I tape it and watch it most days. It's about a 15 minute show if you FF through the slush.

I still dream of being on there someday. I have qualified 3 times. I'll keep trying.

Getting on Jeopardy is my wet dream. Although hopefully not against some maniac like this guy.

a good friend of mine in college won about $150K on the show and qualified for the tournament of champions and ended up winning another $50K while still in school.

Muddy, would you wear a GameLive Hooligan's t-shirt on the show and represent both your wealth of knowledge and your association to us degenerates?

I would if it was allowed Wally - but it would not be allowed.

I probably saw them. Who was it?

I peed in a day old Chipolte burrito bowl last night because I couldn't get out of the car. I tried the Triscut box first, very bad idea.

Who is Mrs. X?

Gypsy Militant Lesbians for $400 Alex.

Muddy, we need to get Bread and Juror to come up with some official GameLive gang sign. You can flash your sign when they have the cameras on ya.
Muddy what area or areas of knowledge do we as a group need to help get you up to speed on?
Muddy this has to happen. This is your dream Muddy which by default makes it our dream for you.

I have given some thought to this, done some fantasizing. If I ever was on Jeopardy, the first day I was being introduced I would mouth, "Hi mom."

Assuming I won and there was a second day, I would pretty much have to go with, "Hi dad."

And on and on like that as I continued to win. I have a brother and a sister and a girlfriend and her kids and my buddy Bert and a little nephew on the way. I have my peeps at my addictions recovery group.

As much as I like gamelive, there are a few other shout outs that would be higher on the pecking order. But on day 16, I'll definitely be mouthing, "Hi gamelive."

Guy won again but it was more of a squeaker because he went for 10K on a Daily Double and missed. But he had the skillz to battle back. Interesting playa.
