Just wondering how the big picture looks for GL after year one? Possibly give us feedback on things we could do to help GL become what you envisioned it to be?

I love the place but will do whatever the people in charge here believe would make it profitable for them. I know I clown around a lot here but personally would like to see more sport's talk or at least some plays put out there. Not good at starting sports threads that people are interested in but like to respond to other posters threads.

GL's sports gambling forums are pretty much non-existant so if GL was to build up their sports area, might have to do so by starting the threads in Hooligan's Talk? Hopefully get enough hardcore gamblers only that the sports forums will eventually grow?

I assume GL needs their share of gamblers only to visit this site to eventually get some advertising money? Maybe people who we might rarely talk to here regarding the everyday drama, but will help GL in the long run?

I might be way off with all of the above not being a businessman who knows the in-and-outs of how a gambling forum operates! Who knows, but would love to get some feedback not only from the people in charge but also from fellow posters.

I appreciate your thoughts MrMonkey. I am bad for letting sports/gambling topics slide and I need to be reminded that other people are very interested.

Will be interested in the thoughts of the powers-that-be as well.

What I would love is some sort of year-long, free-for-all betting contest where every sport/prop is allowed. Determine who is the best *bettor* over the year. It would trigger a lot of betting discussion that's actually interesting (vs. pointless sports gossip that isn't more on-topic than down syndrome porn)

I thought that SBR was going in that direction at one point but they're obviously catering to a different crowd, i.e. low-life half-wits.
