What a wonderful negro adventure this was. I knew nothing of it before watching it and what a delightful surprise it was. Plus there was DiCaprio, Leo makes everything better, I'm a fan. Didn't like SLJ character, in some scenes to he acted too modern like some nigga in Compton and in others he acted old. Nothing extra ordinary but it has style, this is one American film I can recommend. When the slave was eyeballing Django on his horse I burst into laughter.

This I would rate 6.9 but with Leo it's a solid 7.5 Matty Rains
 
i really liked the dr/dentist...he cracked me up too.. djangos wife has a good show on tv called Scandal... she plays a fixer and works closely with the white house. (well, while she was fucking the president) love her lips:yum:
 
was kinda boring and slow to me...ddl character was solid though, i agree...denzel played best role of the year in Flight, imo.

virty, i put out a feeler at the forum...appears its been requested a few times in the last few months with no luck...maybe ill get a response this time
 
Slavery By Another Name: A documentary about the negroes after the Civil War. It shows how even though they got freed, conditions for them worsen from the time they were slaves. It shows how through debt and the convicts system they were pretty much still enslaved and living conditions became brutal. The transformation from being an owned asset to be protected by the owners to a leased property pushed to the limits then discarded. It breaks down the periods in simplistic form and covers all the way to WWII, a time it presents as the real liberation. It shows some hanged niggas.

Here is the full movie on PBS. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 7.0 Matty Rains.
