Took me awhile to find info about this fruit. Cordia dentata, a species of the cordia (http://ir.gl/e38d) family. Sweet taste but very glue-y, so much so that it can actually be use as glue. Usually just chicken feed in the fincas, there's no products or industry out of it, just wild stuff.
