Hollywood was/is still filled with Jews, pal. Back in the old days (1930's -1940's) many if not most of them created non Jewish last names so as not to be identified as Jews.

Today the weather is NOT nice. I have tornadoes coming in. It's gonna be a LONG night. Nothing good ever comes out of Mississippi.

But overall yeah my weather is pretty good. Not to mention I have nice mountains in the north and gorgeous beaches in the south. Plus our space/rocket facility, bbq, football and girls softball!! And Talladega.

Because we have no control of what goes on somewhere else.

But the situation of black slavery here is pretty unique. You had people taken from a different continent and brought over and sold. And relatively speaking it was a recent event. Then after slavery was abolished you had many years of segregation and racism.

In Russia for example, they had serfdom which was abolished a few years before slavery in the US. But since the serfs were basically local farmers afterwards they were just given some land to keep farming. Very different situation.

What about child labor in the 1800's? Textile sweatshops were a form of slavery also. Labor exploitation has gone on from the earliest days and still goes on today, in different forms.

Saskatchewan is full of broads from Thailand and the Philippines brought here to work in the fast food restaraunts.

Down the road from Windsor in Leamington they have a Mexican consulate located downtown to assist all the Mexican nationals with work permits employed on the farms in the area.
