Gregory you saw the news about the new bullet train line from Beinjing to Guangzhou? It becomes the longest in the world for a high speed train. Goes 300kph and covers the distance in 8 hours. Amazing stuff. It was dedicated to Chairman Mao.

documentary about masdar city. A zero carbon city that will rely entirely on solar energy and other renewable energy , and will hopefully be a car free city. they ran into some problems with the podcars and the financial crisis has slowed down the project but is still one of the more interesting architectural projects on the planet
