Thoughts? After I went on that bender 2 weeks ago where I made all those early morning videos and killed a bottle and a half or so and slept for about 30 hours straight I woke up with this pain right above my buttcrack. It hasn't gotten better and it is tough to sit in one place. From what I have read it's pretty common among people who need an adjustment.

Thought on chiropractic adjustments?

This is what happens when beach volleyball legends start to get old I guess.

Steve, I live about 2 miles from the #1 chiropractic college in the US. I am friends with many chiropractors and have had numerous adjustments. I recommend them highly. I also have had many acupuncture sessions as well and they do wonders.

I've been to a chiropractor a few times when I had a pinched nerve in my back. I'm sure that many people have positive experiences with chiropractors, but I'm not a fan.

It's probably my own fault. I told mine not to make the cracky noise because it gives me the oogies. I believe those are all scientific terms.

Yeah, the cracky noise is part of the adjustment.

I was making fun of a chiropractor the other day for not being a real doctor. That was just too easy and really got them stirred up.

I've always considred it, but never understood why I wouldn't want a massge w/ ending instead?

I tried one out 1 time.
I got bad back issues from back when I was framing houses... ie. laying a sheet of plywood on roof at top of peak and it popped up and took my feet out from under me. I rode it all the way to the ground and bounced when I hit ( I was told anyway)
along with other physical labor that tweets the back.

I wasnt impressed. I traded some work for an adjustment.
what really turned me off was all the mumbo jumbo BS he was talking, and how all kinds of ailments are related to back problems... I dont believe in all that shit.

best thing for the back is exercises.

lately I get pains going from top of my butt to lower back after whereing tool belt for a short time.
feels like the Sciatic nerve that runs down the back and into the buttcheek

Chiropractors are doctors. They go to school as long as "regular" doctors go for. In regards to all the ailments associated with the back, their are many. It is definitely not mumbo jumbo. Some people like it others don't. To dismiss it as quack science is a bit odd considering acupuncture and chiropractic medicine have been around longer then the medicine and treatments we consider the norm today.

My chiropractor actually did an adjustment without the crack. He also told me to start doing yoga and pilates more. Oh, hey...guess who the only yoga and pilates teacher in town is?

Yeah, you can do it without the crack. I am going to guess he was doing something with sublexation. I have had it done with and without. Both with beneficial results.
