This was the one. Back when there were air delays in Europe cause of the ashes.

I read somewhere that its suppose to rain, I am assuming they dont race in the rain.

Juror how does qualifying work, do you have a quick explanation, my head hurts to much to use google.

No I never have. I haven't spent much time in WA.

Yeah tully, it's supposed to rain. They still race.
 
qualifying is to determine the starting grid positions for the race

3 sessions by time, Q1, Q2, Q3

first session only the top 17 make it to the next one

second session only the top 10 make it to the next one

sucky cars use them to test the car in a real setting, the good ones save the best for the last 2 minutes changing tires right before

that's pretty much it
 
Just in case: Lewis Hamilton has a 5 place grid penalty for a change of gearbox for those who might've been debating betting on him for pole position.

So after each Q session odds should possibly be adjusted. Or are all the Q session right after each other, not much time in between?
 
Not much time in between, just a commercial break. But anyways everything is off the board while qualifying.

They do! I had to image search to make sure what you were asking about was what I had thought. I'd much rather get up close to one of them than a f'n 'roo.
 
one for sure bet of mine is Button to win +200 @365

going to do a couple of others now before the odds change but need to find the best price first

Ok, if its raining im liking Alonso to make the podium at around +360 (betfair) and Paul DiResta over Nikko Hulkenberg at -105 (pinnacle)...
