I guess it depends. When I see SOV I say the letters. Ess-oh-vee. By the standard rules of grammar that would be preceded by an.


If you say it like a word - sawv - then it would be properly preceded by a.


I kind of always assumed everyone saw it like me but perhaps I have just learned that they don't.

Ohhh, see that explains it, I never thought of it is Ess-Oh-Vee I always pronounced it as sawv.

So here's a question I seriously need an answer too, but can never find one that makes sense to me.

What EXACTLY is the difference between Pronunciation, and Enunciation?

This is something I never really understood...
