I'm confused. I thought Archie was saying BMR bought SBR. But I must have misread as SBR still seems to be going. Is this two skins of the same site with different forums? Or two separate companies?

EoG and RX still exist?

Can someone catch me up on the degen forum lore please? Thx.

I thought he said John sold SBR and then opened BMR?

SBR bought BMR a while back when they were based in Europe. They didn't do much with it until they sold SBR and are moving or have moved some of the mods over there. BMR is for offshore, SBR for legal USA books.

I'm still confused but definitely agree with kato.

You'll figure it out eventually I'm sure.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

So building off of what Archie said, SBR sold to a big conglomerate, and now that big conglomerate owns both?

Yes, rumour is that Caesars owns the sites now, not confirmed. Speculation as to why they would want them is plentiful, go on I know you have an internet connection go and see for yourself.

Well despite all the snark the info was helpful so thank you sir 👍

That was mild snark.

Its above freezing here today with no snow so I'm going for a bike ride. Will check back later, let us know what you find.

this is what I posted. I don't know anymore today. other than to say the new SBR group renewed my PRO membership, got the site running again, got the sportsbook going again. but no points store....

not exactly sure. But I do know that SBR was sold to a large group a few months ago that is focused on domestic books/gambling. So far they've done nothing really. They only kept shari, Lt profits and optional on staff for forum stuff. and even those mods have very little communication with the actual owners.

BMR has been around awhile. It either was owned or got bought be SBR john or other former SBR entities.

Lou, Hacheman (Hman), and SBR genie are now working over there. looks like they hired bobbyfk too.

I guess they'll try to make the big payday on selling and they get those customers back over at BMR. which is helped by the fact that SBR has been mysterious with their future plans. they promise taht the sbr store will be back and points will continue, but who really knows.

meanwhile if the site has tech issues around holidays or weekends -no one really other than the mods with no power are around. The forum has been down since they new year.
