AND they are going to take your picture and prints on arrival

lolerz

brazil is reciprocal, how a country treat their citizens is how they treat their visitors

It's never a bad idea to fingerprint the citizens of the great satan.

It was the great satans idea to fingerprint foreign tourists first.
American hospitality starts at the border.

I don't see the big deal.

What purpose does it serve, other than offending tourists?

I know the US has an immigration problem but for fucks sakes, fingerprinting Japanese senior citizen tourists? common.

These are not Mexican illegals trying to sneak in.

Do you think you would like being fingerprinted and having your mugshot taken by a foreign government for their database after being identified as a US citizen?

Thankfully most of the rest of the world isn't as paranoid as the US is.

I wouldn't let that stop me from a vacation, but then I'm not going to a bunch of foreign countries. Seems like they could get this info from the US.

I don't think alot of tourists are aware of the process until they arrive at US Immigration.

Canadians are exempt from the measure. Thankfully.

My question is this: What purpose does it serve taking fingerprints of tourists visiting the US?
Just more paranoia.

Remeber, the US has less than 5% of the world population but 25% of the worlds incarcerates .
