To watch, you have to spend the $100. The NBA and NHL apps are great too.

I have access to foreign proxies through work, but I am not sure mlbtv works completely on ip addresses, don't they use billing addresses as well to determine blackout status? I looked at slingbox, looks like a pretty interesting device.

my billing address is in colorado and i've never had a game blackouted accessing from colombia though.

I am going to look into this tomorrow, I think you are right durito, it goes solely on ip address. I already found a blog on creative cow dedicated to beating this mlb crap, http://mlbtvblackout.blogspot.com/2009/07/mlbtv-blackout-workaround-bypass.html , but I hate streaming using proxies at work, just so much of a headache doing this. I would gladly pay more for a premium mlbtv service that had no blackouts.
