Wal, dealing with US Customs and Immigration officers is something I don't miss, not at all.

The whole process is uncomfortable, the US guys are always suspicious (as they are trained to be) and the questioning can be intimidating. I know of more than a few people that avoid the US altogether as a travel destination because of the hassle.

I'm sure Canadian border guards can be assholes as well but I think the Americans are better at it.

As a citizen of Canada the Canada Customs guys are mostly harmless, I have told more than one or two of them to fuck off when they ask personal questions about my trip as I return to Canada, I've had to go through secondary screening cause of my attitude. Plommer likes to keep his personal life to himself and anyone that can read through a $25 message board.
