Any good movies out currently?

Long due date night Sat w my pookiebear dinner & a flick. Any recommendations? In theatre now not dvd. We like humor or suspense.
Shutter Island is out I heard it's bad from numerous sources.

Does a movie's presence in one or more of these categories mean the film is racist? Not necessarily; it could just mean the screenwriter or director is being lazy and unimaginative, resorting to easy shorthand instead of bothering to create well-rounded and fully human characters or narratives that transcend clich. It's important, however, for filmmakers to realize that these kinds of stories and characters have a long history in Hollywood, that audiences with an awareness of film history recognize the tainted past that informs such imagery, and that these are therefore traps that vigilant filmmakers will take care to avoid.

It depends what you like. Lots of the Oscar nominees are still playing in theatres. I thought some of them were very good. I liked all of these for different reasons.

Precious would not be a typical date movie but it depends on the person. I saw it on a date and we both liked it a lot.

Of course you can't go wrong with The Tooth Fairy. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays a hockey player who becomes The Tooth Fairy. Need I say more?
