Hutch just poured me an Uncle Nearest 1856.

Said Uncle Nearest is the fellow that taught Jack Daniels how to make whisky.

What a time to be alive, boys.

We’re headed to Lower Broadway tonight in a full blackout.

First time in Nashville and doing some day drinking

just ordered a Blanton’s

excellent nose

delicious mouth swirl and a REAL solid finish

bartender said it’s tough to get this stuff around Derby time because of the bottle tops

this bartender is getting a HUGH tip because he’s a wealth of knowledge

interesting tidbit: they charge the same for a Makers and an Angels Envy.
Come to my bar. I’d appreciate a huge tip

how was it? feel like I've seen that bottle before
it was outstanding. I think I did a mini-review 4 or 5 posts ago

we managed to drink 7 bourbons and smoke 4 cigars today. Lets see how we feel in the morning and then reevaluate! jajajaja

I thought that was your review of Blanton's. I've had that, and imo it's fine, but over rated, perhaps because of the horsey and the unique bottle. I've never heard of the Uncle Nearest, although now looking at the bottle, I feel I might have seen it somewhere

We get a bottle of Blanton's from my mother in law when we win a major horse race. So once. Shes nice like that.

Blitty, it’s too bad you weren’t in Nashy yesterday; I had very little to do work-wise and I drank about 8 bourbons and chilled at Casa de Montecristo. We could have definitely met up.

The pulled pork with cole slaw and Mac N Cheese at Peg Leg Porker was my favorite meal.
A close second was the East Nasty chicken biscuit at Biscuit Love.
