A rare audio recording of the Parisian accent of the late Avant Garde era

I'd like to hear XVIth century French. It's apparently close to Quebecois French.

Nothing is close to Quebec French, pal.

tabernac!

"Listen to the Parisian accent from 1912" My mind processed this immediately, thank you grade 7 French class!

The only thing that didn't translate is the numbers. For some reason when I see numbers in a French sentence I think in English and the French equivalent escapes me.

Marty I have no idea how to say "1912" en français. I can say every number individually, only because they taught us how to count to ten in French class in the Toronto school system in the 1970's when I was in middle school.

It probably would've sounded a bit like that, although Norman French dates back to Viking times:

mille neuf cent douze (ou dix-neuf cent douze)
