Abu Dhabi/Dubai learned that they can't trust any of their partners. Out of all of the countries involved in the conflict they are the ones standing the worst. Pakistan backstabbed them. The US backstabbed them. Russia backstabbed them. Oman backstabbed them. So that's four broken pacts, in security, in defense, and the last two commercially.
A few months before this war started they ran a proxy war in Yemen against Saudi Arabia. The warlords the UAE supported took over a huge part of the country... that lasted them all but a single week until the warlords Saudi supports hit them back hard. So hard that the UAE back militias dissolved.
So the UAE is friendless, they took their ball and went home. The only countries that have and continue helping them during this war are.. Israel and Ukraine.
So it makes no sense to be part of an alliance the benefits your direct rivals. They will continue feigning stupidity with the Americans though. It's a nice win for Israel.
