I think it's also because expectations were so low for BCS. We felt like it was doomed to fail, or at least fail to come close to BB. It had no business being this good.

BCS was an excellent show. No doubt. In a vacuum though BB was better IMO. Only ONE bad episode in the entire series. BCS has its ebbs and flows throughout.

Yes. The first 2-3 episodes are slow, then it gets mesmerizing and it never lets up. Maybe a little towards the series finale.
