After acquiring Tulo last July, the Jays played .750 ball the rest of the season.

That's all I want: .750 ball.

GIVE ME MY FUCKING .750 BALL!!

:mudcat:

Can we just get rid of R.A. Dickey?

Yes he can throw a lot of innings - but if he does that with an ERA of 5, how is that a good thing?

That's assuming he can get his ERA down to 5 at some point.

He's a nice guy but he's made millions of dollars. Set him free. He'll be fine.

Jays get to .500 and now, tonight ----> R.A. Dickey

Dickey's ERA sitting at 8.25. But that's okay because he throws a knuckleball which doesn't put a lot of stress on the arm so he can pitch 200 innings no problem.

Hoo-fucking-ray

Man I really dislike our TV announcer guys, Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler. Do I really want to mute the TV and put on the radio every time I feel like watching some ball?

Seems like a bit much.

I've nailed to down to either you're unhappy with your life or you're a fuckin asshole.

We can also drop the "either" and trade the or for and.

It would be sweet if Buck Martinez could be doing an interview with John Gibbons and a huge Monty Python foot came out of the sky and squashed them both with one big fart sound.

While we're living in sweet dreamland, let's also undo the trade that sent Noah Syndergaard to the Mets for R.A. Dickey.

Okay enough of that. Jays win. Stroman goes to 3-0.

However Dickey tomorrow.

Chris Colabella

you shouldn't have done that :nun:

I was a bit surprised. Probably shouldn't have been. The guy just out-of-of the-blue has a great season off-the-charts better than he has ever done before.

Shades of Brady Anderson really.

But I was a bit surprised. For one things times have changed since Anderson and I'm not constantly on alert for PED's. For another, Collabello is built like a lumpy pillow.

But also he is very high on the likeability scale - so I never really stopped to be suspicious of him.

Whateva. He is doing then old, "I don't know how this happened!" defense. I have no respect for that. Plus he was hitting like .070 for the season so I can't say I am devastated to have him out of the lineup.

We move on.

Blue Jays are honking upon bobo so far this season. The offense, considering what we witnessed last season, is amazingly inept.

Nice to have Tulo show signs of not sucking at the plate. 3 for 4 with 2 HR's yesterday. Average inching up towards .200

Having him not sucking would go a long way towards any plans the team might have.

Jays are giving me a break so far this spring. They are not interesting enough that I feel a need to devote much time towards them. They have basically relegated themselves to team-that-I-casually-follow-the-score-on-the-internet-if-I-think-of-it.

Now I wish they were better and worth watching closer. But I do have more important things to do with my time than sports so the current state of affairs is not the worst thing.

Ideal situation for me would be: they start to really suck for awhile - and the manager gets fired. They bring in someone less retarded and catch fire and make a late season charge and we have an August-Sept-Oct like last season which I will gladly devote some time to.

So yeah, let's do that.

Thaaaat's my Blue Jays.

That's my Blue Jays.

Jays lost yesterday on a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 13th.

4 pitch walk, none of the pitches even close.

Bautista gonna have a swollen face like Delino Deshields once did.....
