Your source is probably correct but just be aware that you're getting into bed with people who's moral compass is beyond questionable.

BCH has a central point of authority and when btc fixed it's excessive transactional fee structure issue by implementing segwit then the user case for BCH (low fees and more transactions per block) basically became mostly void (what do you think litecoin does??)...

There are so many better shit coins out there for you to get into Blitty...just sayin

Tried to do that to make a sexy cushion bet on the Pens.

My debit card provider said no.

So when I win the wsop we'll figure something out for that

Thanks for the insight xpy.

Bodog becky seems to know her stuff when it comes to BCH. Her friends bought big when it was $100 in August. Think she threw 20K at it in December.

My bank tried to to ban me from spending my money for crypto using their service so switched up banks.

It's bad enough they gauge and rule over us with their excessive fees etc wtf are they to tell me how I can spend my money?

Time you found another financial inst

Nice...

Personally planning on shorting it immediately after the upcoming fork.

Expecting to see 40%+ gains.

Anyone who believes the word of someone like ''Mr self proclaimed satoshi nakamoto aka craig james'', needs to go Nigeria where there lies an extensive collection of ''bolex'' watches and ''iphun'' mobiles that can be sold to them for a good price 👌👌

US Attorney will dismiss Ross Ulbricht's murder for hire charge

:nuffsaid:

Everything is stupidly expensive. The article will create a frenzy and send the BitCoin rate through the roof. Then a bunch of people will get arrested and it'll be over.

Pass.
The Bitcoin thing is shortlived. It's a renegade FX market.
Ya need to go through Tor. Look for "Tor Browser Bundle", download it, run it, then go to the URL in the article.

1 Bitcoin is about $10 right now. Do the math.

Oh Matty. You could have said "BUY BUY BUY". Wonder if Gregm made loads.

I was wrong about it being shortlived, correct about everything else. It's still little more than a shitshow for small-time FX traders and drug dealers/users.

But yeah I held as many as 120 BTC at one point. Hurts to think about it.

The 120 were bought in the low 2-digits and were almost immediately spent. I bought some more later at $80-120 then held them for a bit, sold a handful at $875 at that was it. Made 4-5 thousand Canadian tomatoes. Can't complain, but fuck.

I redeemed and sold that at the same time.

Did the same thing a couple years ago with a weed stock I bought before it exploded. Cashed out way too early.

Matty you fokkin premature ejaculator fok

Lmfao

Less than half of 1% of btc transactions is used for drugs but don't worry, that dirty Fiat we all use will always be utilized as the number one asset class when it comes to supplying militias or when drug cartels need to reup...

Long live dinosaur money 😁

what has it been used in xpy? I mean I hope the other 99% isn't just speculation. Are people actually using it to buy things, pay rent? I would be much more excited about it if so. I'd like to invest in something that isn't dollars.. .. Best thing I came up with so far is whiskey bottles

So main utility for bitcoin presently is as a digital store of value which at present is mostly used by speculators.

Whilst there are cafes and other businesses https://coinmap.org/welcome/ (a list of all businesses around the world that accept crypto) that utilize bitcoin and other crypto we won't really see widespread adoption again until the lightning network is up and running. Its basically designed to speed up transactions whilst keeping transactions costs down.

Bitcoin in particular also has several projects in the pipeline to help scale the network for future use...

On a software level the space is still running on windows 95 level, next upgrade will be to windows 2000 minus the bugs (hopefully)...

Also, must point out that mattys argument isn't 100% false. Privacy coins are used mainly by businesses and unfortunately those whose intentions are less than honorable in this space. You'll always get bad actors though, no matter what you're trying to accomplish...
