Hate them in general. Most have actual funny moments and Pratt tries to be funny but it did not click with team Camicon. You might very well enjoy the effects, etc. The high ratings surprised me as did Cooper and Diesel being two of the voices.

Matty - it wasn't godawgul....it had a few sweet moments, and a few giggles, but it felt very immature to me. I mean, it had a lot of innuendos in it, or at least the main character did, aside from that though, it felt like it was definitely geared towards teens and young adults. I like space balls better.

Wait, that shit is animated? I hate animated shit.

Finished season 1 of Louie last night - episodes are really short and sweet.

I guess I can relate with Louie's self-deprecating tendencies, but he's taking it a bit far sometimes.

Still, good mix of fonny, insightful and uncomfortable. Looking forward to witness the show's evolution.

7.7 Mattys for season 1

same

Spaceballz was awesome in it's day or so I remember it as. Would I like it now? Not sure. I see re-watching that about as likely as rewatching Ghostbusters for the same reason.

Neither very likely. But still, your schwartz is as big as mine and he did slime me.

Editing for your take on Louie - I agree he goes too far sometimes but it is his bread and butter. He's expanded his palette some these days which is good. You'll probably enjoy the latter episodes more with more shennanigans beside him just being pathetic and self loathing going on.

I enjoyed Guardians. Good soundtrack, too.

I will admit team Camicon LOL'd PRETTY HARD at that last night. Masterful editing, right thurr.

Finding Blake funny is gay. Watching the Voice is gay. Being peeved Matt McAndrew got 2nd and Country SHIT WON is gay.

So now there's a third Hobbit movie. They never got on my radar at all. Judging by the dollars, they are a notch less popular than Lord of the Rings - still making a lot of dough though - but somehow, while I was always acutely aware of LOTR - and I did watch all 3 - The Hobbit is nowhere for me.

I hope they aren't planning to throw all the Oscars at this third installment like they did with the third LOTR (for no good reason that I could see).
