Or maybe that should have started out with, what has two thumbs and is a happy chappy RIGHT NOW?




I tell you what though. I decided I had to change the tempo on a song - had to speed it up a bit - which is not just a simple matter of clicking a button. Or rather, the percussion and anything done with a midi keyboard will change to whatever tempo by just entering a new number. However audio tracks do not. That means acoustic and electric guitar, and also vocals.

So anyway I thought I would be redoing vocals on this song all weekend - which was a bummer because I do not find it to be an easy and fun thing to do overall - and also because I was very happy with what I had. As it turns out though this was not a radical upping of tempo - I was just going from 112 to 116 - and I found that I can use the existing vocals. They needed some slight strategic sliding around but nothing more than that. Did the whole job in like half an hour.

I had already determined that the guitar all needs redone and assumed the vocals must need it too.

But no.
