At which point the lil man will be 2.5-3.5 and if she stays till the new new one is in preschool, then that's at least 6 years she'd be out of work no? That's quite the chunk of time...

My wife didn't go back to work until our youngest went to pre-school. What you lose in income now you make it up in well behaved kids in the future. You can see a huge difference between the behavior of our kids and kids who were raised in daycare centers.

No

Missed the part about only up to preschool.

What I am saying is that why I would nt want anyone but the mother raising a small little tike. Older kids often dont learn to wake up for themselves...have less chores and household responsibilities and are generally babied more. My wife only began working recently.
