I lived at 15th and Curtis at Brooks Towers for a time..pretty close to there. Then I moved to ghetto Aurora.

That sucks. When we were going thru our merger saw that too much. It sucked. :(

I got no severance and no ins carry over after 16 years in a good job. Did he have any idea it was coming? At least I had a year to prepare but sounds like was a different deal.

Dog eat dog world out there with all these mergers, aquisitions and people with no heart.

You best be careful or be labeled a sympathizer. The next you know the axe woman will be coming for you.

I think those were condos and they had a security desk on the first floor. I used to play chess at the 16th street mall in between the shuttle lines. It was directly across from the US Mint. I enjoyed the Tattered Cover book store as well. The only thing about right downtown was that you got asked for change nearly every other block downtown. I felt safe it was just addressing this request all the time that wore on you.
