That was interesting, especially at the beginning. He went down a lot of paths that weren't especially interesting. I would have rather seen him break down the historical records vs actual gametime temps/wind chills. That would have been a lot more informative than just looking at months that tend to be cold.

A stupid statistic which I have heard repeated quite a number of times now from several different sources - which is stupid - but of course I am now joining in - except please note that my intention is to highlight the stupidity, not to suggest there is something meaningful to the "trend" - so please note that - but here it is:

The last 4 times there has been a playoff matchup between two teams where the home team has 4 less regular season wins - which is the case with sf/GB - the home team with the much weaker record has won.

Many different people keep bringing that up. Holy fuck, the stupid shit.

I know. People like to bring up franchise stats going back to the start of the NFL mostly involving teams that didn't have a single player involved in the current game being analyzed. Like someone was analyzing the Chargers chances and they were bringing up stuff from the Dan Fouts era.

It's like they think the actual jersey is carrying around a bunch of psychological baggage.

People are stooped.

home teams with 4 less wins. Seems like that shouldnt happen.

People should be required to give stats in round #s. I mean like last 4 implies 4-1 or maybe 4-2etc.. all of a sudden doesnt look that great. anyway, yeah

I am cheering for Cinci. Absolutely no idea why but when I look at the game, that's what my gut is saying and it's not close.

Go Bengals :dunno:

Maybe it's the uniforms. That's why I usually cheer for Cinci. If they were to put little fuzzy ears on the helmets, I would become a lifelong fan.
