Yeah cool, I like when people do proper pronunciation. Lots of Cubanitos and other wanna be transplants down here always pronounce their latin names like a gringo would, end of up sounding stupid.

Yeah, I can't stomach pronouncing my name Americanized, feel like a sell out.
This leads to me having to repeat name several times and give pronunciation lesson which generally is a pain in the ass.

Hispanics like to pronounce my first name as A-lee-ssa. I don't mind it. People also mess up my name and call me Alicia a lot. My best friends name is Alicia, and growing up people always swapped our names, we gave up on correcting people years ago.

I went to the doctor today for my never-ending 4 week long sinus infection (which I am now on some hardcore antibiotics). Had him look at my toe and he diagnosed it as "too-tight-of-wedding-shoe-itis." No fungus, no infection, no bad pedicure, just too many tight high heels.
