PS: The Hawks were favoured to win the Cup before the playoffs started, that hasn't changed and won't.

I have absolutely no read on this series. Chicago with the great season but what Boston did to Pittsburgh was absolutely disgusting. Bacon wore his Red Sox cap into town this weekend thinking nothing of it.

Yeah the locals are not too happy with anything Boston at the moment.

Should have kept the face mask on, Blit. Seriously, Boston were and are too physically dominant for any team. I can't see Chicago beating them for the Cup. Boston is just too big, too mean, too strong. Chara will be a beast in the finals.

I find ity amazing that the Bruins toughest opponent in the post season was the LEAFS!

LEAFS were the team that had the best chance of beating Boston.

The Leafs basically ruined the Penguins chances by losing game 7 to the Bruins.

Funny how that works.

Only if they stay healthy and don't lose the will to take the hits and fight in the corners, I don't see Hossa doing any of that.

Chicago seems better suited to the regular season. Boston was built for the playoffs.

Just going by what I've seen.

I also remember the Ottawa/Anaheim final from years ago and where many expected the Senators and their Euro skill to beat the Ducks.
We all know how that ended, playoff hockey is different than the regular season game.

The Hawks won't be skating around the B's and scoring at will, they will be physically challenged on every play by the Bruins and it will wear them down, the way the B's wore down Vancouver a few years ago. Vancouver was far better offensively and looked great in the regular season but they were battered and bruised by game 7. I see the same fate for the Blackhawks.

Doesn't hurt that the B's have way more Canadian kids on their roster (not including goalies) than the Hawks.
