Pucky, Canada's subservience to the British monarchy strikes us as pathetic. I can't believe that people were launching fireworks yesterday in TO. It's embarrassing.

Quebec does not celebrate France's crap. We're our own thing.

Grow up Canada, is what we're saying to you.

BTW as a Nova Scotian you should probably settle down with that "parasite" talk. Your province gets 30% more equalization payments per capita than Quebec does. Without that money the Maritimes would be little more than a shitty hiking trail for MrX to "find himself" in.

:what?:

Plus, soon Alberta and Saskatchewan will be sucking Ontario and Quebec's tits. Finite resource supplies tend to run dry over the long term.

Happy Monday right back.

That's right bitch.

Well played Mathieux.

Agree with everything except the Alberta/Sask comment.

While their natural resources may be finite they will not run out during our lifetime.
Ontario and Quebecs tits will not be sucked for a while yet.

Matty, don't be knocking Saskatchewan pal, they were a have not province up until only recently.

Many of us have memories of grandparents who honestly gave a crap about the royal family but it has now pretty much dwindled to the level of tabloid curiosity. Simpletons are goofy about famousness and there is no shortage of simpletons. To me, people throwing darts are in exactly the same simpleton boat.

Certainly the weekend fireworks had nothing to do with the royal family any more than I am feeling the awe of the resurrection of Christ when I eat a chocolate easter egg. People just like a day off work and a party.

Official protocol dictates that on Victoria Day the Royal Union Flag is flown from sunrise to sunset at all federal government buildings— including airports, military bases, and other Crown owned property across the country— where physical arrangements allow (i.e. where a second flag pole exists, as the Royal Union Flag can never displace the national flag).[3] Royal salutes (21-gun salutes) are fired in each provincial capital and in the national capital at noon on Victoria Day.

I hope Qubec City did not oblige. I see no mention of it in the media.

I misspoke. The #1 threat to Alberta's economy is itself - when worldwide production of oil sands soars and the price of oil goes down, they will have trouble turning a profit. Alberta has no Plan B. Saskatchewan is okay as long as they don't face sustained droughts. And here again, no Plan B. All eggs in the same basket.

Ontario and Quebec are the future.

Matty, you know how much I adore Saskatchewan, pal.

I will not tolerate any bad mouthing of that province.

We ran an ad with a partner recently - the visual was that of a glamourous model-type woman standing in front of a Porsche Boxster. In the background - an endless stretch of hay fields.

Yap. Nothing turns on a model more than a bout of seasonal allergies in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Soon all of Canada will be sucking on Nova Scotia's tit - http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/story/2011/10/19/ns-shipbuilding-contract-reaction.html and http://www.irvingshipbuilding.com/irving-shipbuilding-home.aspx

Bring those writing skills to the east coast young Mathieu. I'll make sure the Spryfield Mafia protects you and the "missus."

Puckaaaaaaaaaay !

You think building a few ships is gonna make Nova Scotia rich?

Ontario produces Toyotas, Lexus, Honda, Ford, Chrysler and GM vehicles (mostly for export to the great Satan - America) and the province is currently a have not province.

Quebec produces maple syrup.
