What happened to Fleury? Just a product of having a great team in front of him?

He was never better than average (IMO Wally). Has one of the best offenses in the league front of him.

He was also lucky, if he were drafted by the Blue Jackets or Carolina his NHL career as a starter would probably have ended a few years ago.

I was never a fan of his but especially after he fucked up vs team USA in the World Juniors way back in the day.

I look forward to the day Canada plays Quebec in the World Juniors.

I found out yesterday that if/when the Sens make it to the 2nd round, I will be likely going to a game in Ottawa. My brother is a season ticket holder and he is going to give up his 2 - 8th row centre ice seats for 6 - 200 level tickets.

Boston looks like they could go the whole way. San Jose is a big time sleeper that no one is talking about... I'd say Boston/San Jose final if I had to choose.

Watch for the Bruins to pursue the puck tonight with a frenzy. They will continue to force the Leafs into making errors and turning over the puck. I predict Reimer lets in a soft goal or two and the Leafs head back to Boston for their final burial.

Montreal Canadiens captain Brian Gionta will undergo season-ending surgery Friday to repair a torn left biceps muscle, the team announced Wednesday.

In addition, the Canadiens announced that forwards Ryan White and Brandon Prust each have an upper-body injury and will miss Game 5 of the team's Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.

Goaltender Carey Price, who sat out overtime in Game 4 on Tuesday, is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated Thursday.

The Sens are still an underdog on most books, despite all of this.. I see a lot of potential value here if you get in quickly enough.

I remeber that game as if it were yesterday. The WJHC was in Halifax that year. Luongo was another sieve in the WJHC.

He (Fleury) basically scored on himself late in the 3rd period to give the gold to the Yanks, I can still make myself sick if I think about it.

Puckaaay, the Leafs are beating themselves tonight pal. If it weren't for Leaf giveaways they would have won this game in regulation.

Now we gotta sweat the O/T.
