Yeah, it looks like I'll have to go back to work soon, just trying to figure out where I want to go exactly and what gig to take.

My license was downgraded because I didn't submit a medical by the cutoff date. I switched my Sask license for an Ontario one (because the fukkin cops kept hassling me) and that triggered a request for a medical certificate. So I have to get a medical filled out and submit it before I can drive a truck. Once the medical is received by the MTO my license gets upgraded back to a class A (class 1 Sask).

It's snowing here too.

I've thought about going to Cuba, I just can't get myself motivated to do anything.

Full medical for a driving license?

In Canada when you hold a commercial drivers license for tractor trailers you need to have a doctor give you a full examination and have him/her fill out a medical form for the ministry of transportation (MOT).

If you are 21-45 yrs old it is required every 5 years.

When you hit 45 it is required every 3 years.

If you miss the due date of your medical they downgrade your license, in my case I hold a class A license that allows me to operate any large commercial truck, now I have been downgraded to a class D license which means I can drive large single unit trucks - like a 5 ton or cement mixer, I cannot drive a tanker truck with a class D.

As soon as the MOT receives my new medical they wil reinstate my class A license.
