In my vast experience I have seen lots of instances where people want to get fired - and I have seen people go to fair and sometimes comical lengths to make it happen. If it was one of those situations, I would say congrats.

Otherwise, bummer.

No, you can't (at least I hope so). Can you even collect if you are fired for cause?

The rules here may be different than in the US but getting fired/quitting doesn't disqualify you from being eligiblefor unemployment, it depends on the reason(s).

in GA an employer has to jump through hoops to fire someone w/out repercussions.
