Good length, overpriced though for a guy who's numbers have slipped since his 91 pt. season. He's a good player, not HHOF good, but solid for sure. 8 years is good, but that price is crazy. He's not Sidney Crosby.

I tune into the Ducks from time to time Blitty. I don't need to watch an entire hockey game to see what Getzlaf brings to the table. Don't be so sensitive buddy. I like Getzlaf, but that price is NUTS especially when they have Perry who will want the same $$$.

I have 0 pity for any US based teams that have financial trouble. Canada could probably handle 3 or 4 more NHL franchises and they'd all be sold out. At least Markham,Hamilton and Quebec City for sure anyway.
