Chicken raising hipsters?? I'm in a gnarly mood

I'm in a friggin gnarly mood today. Not sure what it is, but maybe it's the chicken raising, wannabe hipster creative folk I have to see every day. I come into work and the first thing I hear from one colleague to another was "hey I forgot your eggs and I am so uber sorry for it." Fuck I hate some people today!!!
 
My neighbour across the street is a hipster. She's from Northern Alberta and her husband is a black dude from Montreal. His name is Jean and he doesn't say too much, but he does seem like a friendly frenchie. I'll give him a chance. They have a cute little boy who we gave a bunch of baby clothes to, but the mother has a rat tail so I'm not too sure what to make of her. She drives one of those kermit the frog type of bikes.

That sounds like quite the interesting couple.....I look forward to the day that I either have normal upstanding neighbors that their own business, or non at all.
 
Those seem like contradictory concepts. Chicken raising and hipster. My boss at my previous job had some chickens but he could not have been further from a hipster. He was a rube-ish church-going work-on-cars-for-a-hobby kinda guy. Completely down to earth. Just one step from being a farmer.

I think they were probably trying to get to the west coast, mistakenly headed east on the Trans Canada highway and ended up in Nova Scotia.


Nobody willingly leaves Alberta for Nova Scotia do they?
