Picks are locked 5 minutes before gametime and everyone's picks are displayed: http://1dl.us/F6h.jpg

Then, 8 minutes later, the commish is somehow able to change 2 picks: http://1dl.us/F6j.jpg

Everyone else's picks are the same. Commish is the only guy who seems to have his "last-minute" adjustments delayed.

:bashing:

Sounds like your commish may be lying.

The fact that he may be a member of the negro race does not help his credibility.

Matty, I would make sure he isn't a gang member before making accusations, pal. And make sure to have your OHIP card with you.

S'okay, looks like I'm going to beat his silly black ass 2 years in a row now, AND expose him as a low-life cheating cunt. I'm going to go one further by refusing the winnings and splitting the pot equally between everyone.

I won't be outdouched.

ohhhhh

super high road!

I like the cut of your jib

To be honest, if I hadn't called him out last week I would just keep the winnings. Now I'd look silly if I kept the money.

In hindsight, I could've easily shut up and pulled a Brock Landers (scoooooooore).

WTF Matty! The money is all yours!!! If you're right, you're right! Don't let him misconstrue public opinion to his side!

If you survived below, you will survive this!

Hmm. Had the games actually kicked off yet? 1:08PM EST is pretty close to kickoff.

Not an open and shut case here, Matty. If you had posted that the picks were still unchanged after kickoff and had been changed later, your case is better. But in a court of law, there's no proof there that the picks weren't changed prior to kickoff.

I'd keep the money based on lack of evidence.

Doesn't matter, the games lock 5 minutes before the posted time of 1pm, and only then do we see everyone else's picks. Then Eddie went in and tweaked his shit so we didn't have so many different picks. As the overall leader he would rather have all the same picks as me.

Last week he and I both had TEN, until GB went up 21-0. Then his "last-minute adjustment" kicked in.

:bashing:

I would be surprised if he couldn't see your picks prior to that, Matty.

Exactly. That's my other point. The CBS site seems to be setup for a league where the manager doesn't play himself. He has a bunch of unfair advantages as a player. You can't even ask him to be honest if he sees everyone's plays immediately.

Hell, I'd cheat.

Prolly not.

(I put in my plays at the very last minute this week. 12:54pm. He had no chance to "adjust" in time.)

I'm with MF on this. I know the Falcons game didn't kick off until 1:05 pm. So if you have a screenshot at 1:08 pm it's only a few minutes off. Do you have a screenshot at 1:30 or something?

Oh and don't split the winnings. No need to be Robin Hood here. Keep it.

That would work if this were actual betting, but the game we're playing is setup so that we all pick before a predetermined cutoff time (5 mins before the scheduled time) without being able to see the other players' picks, precisely so we can't "strategize" and change picks according to the other guys' plays. That the actual kickoff happened later is irrelevant.

That ol' Eddie was the only one who could and did switch picks after they were locked for everyone else, does seem relevant.

Eddie and I were tied at 146 after the 1pm games, so I sent an email proposing that we split the pot right there in light of the commish's unfair advantage. I got one reply asking for more details about what happened.

People are not paying attention.

Shoulda shut up, but I'd no idea I'd be winning at this stage.
