The Eagles deserve to get blown out! Look at the ESPN Andy Reid story where he has been calling around the league for assistant coaches wherever he coaches next year!

Andy, go over some press conference tape where you were indigent and nasty to reporters bout "I'm only concerned with the present" and "I'm only thinking of the game this week" when they asked you appropriate questions! Andy, you're not fired yet and you still have a game to coach? Unreal but not unexpected!

Pavy, he had a great first 6 years but the last 8 have been good-to-average-to-poor! Owner really likes Andy personally (made him lots of cash too) and was overly patient with him!

I agree the last 8 years he is mediocre at best. Any idea on who the Eagles are going to go after? Will they try to get a head coach from another team or will they go with an assistant?

No idea but I would go with an NFL assistant coach! Chip Kelly from Oregon talk but I hope not! And please no Gruden, Cowder or any of those guys! Give the assistant 2 years to show something and if not try another! Those ex NFL big name guys tie you up too long and owner doesn't like to waste money .....

A little random glimpse into what this guy is about ......

Eagles Notes: His season over, Mike Patterson to file grievance against Eagles

December 13, 2012|By Jeff McLane and Zach Berman, Inquirer Staff Writers

Mike Patterson's agent said that he planned to file a grievance through the NFL Players Association after the Eagles placed his client on the non-football illness list Wednesday.

"This is not how you treat people if you're a winning organization," Peter Schaffer said.

Patterson will lose about $150,000, or 50 percent of his remaining salary, Schaffer said.

Patterson contracted pneumonia last week and required hospitalization. He was home and resting as of Tuesday, according to team trainer Rick Burkholder.

Schaffer said that he spoke to Howie Roseman after he was informed of the move and told the Eagles general manager then that he planned to file a grievance because he believed the defensive tackle likely contracted the illness because of work.

Eagles will pay Mike Patterson

Well, that was quick.

The Eagles have decided to not to reduce the salary of defensive tackle Mike Patterson after his placement on the non-football illness list.

Patterson, who began the season on the non-football illness list after surgery to repair a tangle of blood vessels in his brain, had a provision in his contract that automatically reduces his pay for any week that he is on the NFI list. But the provision was implemented to protect the team in the event that Patterson couldnt play due to the brain condition.

Since returning to the field, Patterson contracted viral pneumonia, which unlike the brain condition arguably was connected to practicing and playing in the elements.

Mr. Laurie ...... how petty was that ...... another little nugget to add to the true Eagle fans disliked perception of you and your self proclaimed "gold standard" of a team! Bought the team less than 20 years ago for 185 million and now worth over 1 billion! Unreal!

Some big spreads in the next round of games.

NE -10 (over mia)
DEN -17 (over kc)
SD -9.5 (in a barnburner against Oakland)
SF -16 (over az)
SEA -11(over stl)

I don't have any strong opinions - just pointing it out. I guess if I was forced to make one pointspread pick from those games it would be New England minus the 10.

So if I am understanding correctly, the Giants season is done. That makes me happy.

I don't know why I should care. I guess it's because I used to be a Dallas fan. I don't give a crap about Dallas any more - they can go fuck themselves tonight for all I care - but I guess the old hatreds are more enduring.

The same way a 70 yr old white lady gives you the racist stare in Publix

You know it's deep down there
