yes, this type of promo comes up from time to time. They will usually have some stipulation as in you get your money on next visit etc. A guy I know, they tried to dispute his losses. But there is value, more so if you bet longer odds type games.

Yeah Reno, its your losses over three specific Saturdays througout the summer. Aside from the longer odds games what is the strategy?

When do you walk away if you are up either on the initial day or any of the subsequent loss-play days?

It would seem to me that you'd be better off playing high denom ($5 and up), lower hold, low(ish) variance types of games.

Has me thinking actually. I might put together some sort of hypothesis sim on this.

I know Trop here has the $200 loss rebate for new signups but there isn't a no VP stipulation like this one has...

yeah, I noticed 2k max. And you can do this 3 times? I mean if they don't try any funny business it's quite valuable. I don't think the casinos will survive 1 day. They'll be coming from all over for this.
You want something you will lose on a great majority of the time but when you hit you hit big. Kind of similar to a sportsbook free play. A high denom slot is ideal, but just from a value standpoint high variance is good. Technically you want to take some shots at a 100k jackpot. Like a 5xpay or 10xpay machine.

Now, since 2k is a considerable amount to many people, and you don't want to just break even on such a rare opportunity setting a modest win goal is reasonable too. It's kind of a question of how much is a meaningful sum to you.

Also make sure the freeplay you receive for your loses is good on a legit machine. I like to playoff my free play on the typical Game King Blackjack machines (98%)

You get your rebate in 3 installments. The loss period is only one day. Why they'd choose a Saturday to do it is beyond me....

This is the same casino that gave that 20% loss rebate on blackjack to the high roller for a huge hit.

Guess they didn't learn their lesson.

yep. well maybe it's 97.5 :dunno: The BJ hit takes a couple %. Single Deck pretty close to 100% even with 10, 11 dd only. Not much of a hit on that. Not a lot of value in doubling 9's 8's or soft hands except for counters and other advanced strategy play. And you have 6card auto win (which doesn't add much but is fun )

It's quick, and pretty much assures you get most of your freeplay back in cash.

I can't find a BJ hold calc online that has even money BJ as an option.

But I guess if it's not 98%, it's not far off.

You'd probably have to find a machine that's BJ only with that promotion though. It says no VP so you might run the risk of having problems getting your rebate if you're playing a multigame machine.

Play your favorite Slot Machines; excluding any Video Poker, $25 denominations or above, video roulette, and game maker machines.

Yeah. No VP. Doesn't really say if it's on the paybacks or not, but at least not on the original play.

VP is the obvious play if you can find a nice progressive, but it's a no go.

I'd think you might be able to find some $5 Blazing 7 machines or something that might be worthwhile...

Not sure though. Like I said, I might put together a little sim later. I have that Blazing 7 PARS sheet which should have fairly comparable odds that I'll probably use to test minus a percent or so in return for good measure.

yes the Blazing 7's is a good enough choice. I would guess that the free play can be played of on vp. In the casinos that offer fp the game kings and what not are typically eligible. I wouldn't expect them to alter the machines because of this promo.
