Basically said he admired him as a survivor when people wanted him removed from power. Ozzie can think that, but one reason he was brought in was to promote the marlins to the very people who despise Castro. No different than telling a Jewish group how much you admire Hitler.

Ozzie is flying down to Miami to clear the air, it is a pretty big story there.

He pissed off the US by making American tourists subjected to fingerprinting when entering his country like the US does to people from certain nations dumb enough to want to visit.

Not nearly as brilliant as some of his other policies. Given the booming economies in south america + the price of oil and Venezuela should be booming like brazil, instead the economy has been destroyed, it's the most dangerous place in the world, and none of his social policies have helped anyone.
 
Political views should not have any effect in someone's job performance. We condemned the old Soviet Union for silencing the people who disagreed with their policies and now we are doing the same to Ozzie even though we preach First Amendment rights for everyone. Let him say whatever he wants. I find most of the stuff he says amusing and I'm never insulted by it.
