i passed through david on the tica bus. it was hot. that was the worst bus trip of my life.

i was just looking into that yesterday actually. leaning towards getting a rental for a month until I find somewhere to settle in. itll be so much easier to get around and i dont mind spending a bit more money when i first get there since ill be almost assuredly jumping from hostel to hostel. any idea if you can take rentals cross-border? I want to fly in to San Jose.

where were you traveling from? I didn't mind the couple bus trips I went on longest was only like 3 hours tho.

you can but they make a bigger hassle out of it, best is get a rental drop it off at the border, go through custom & immigration and get another rental on the other side, sounds crazy but they are used to it
