The more I have thought about this game I have changed my mind in one aspect. While I still think Saban is one of the best coaches in college football and the better overall coach in this game, I think Miles is more adaptable. Meaning if one team were to make changes to the first time they played to gain an edge it would be LSU.

Not saying it will happen or if it does it will work but just admitting I didn't really give Miles enough credit originally. I still like Bama though.
 
maze healthy, which is hugh.. he had no business even being in the game after his early injury and fucked their great field position possibility by not being able to catch that 70something yd punt...saban knows he coached the worst game of his career in game 1...i have a hard time betting against them...need lsu for a bit at the moment, but that might change..have some big boys that have yet to make a play

I know!! Nebraska (2001) and Oklahoma (2003) should be ashamed!!! Not to mention Florida State (2000) who was chosen to play in the BSC game even though they lost to Miami who had the same record.


Sarcasm aside, why shouldn't Bama get to play in this game. No other team that was in the running took care of their own business. Bama lost to the #1 ranked team in overtime by a field goal. Oregona lost to the same team 40-27 with Oregon scoring late in a touchdown that only their momma's loved. Iowa State...need I say more? If Bama's one loss was Vandy (similar record as Iowa State) bama would not have even been considered. LSU still has not scored a touchdown on Bama. Oregon can't claim that. Bama had the yards. Only difference was Bama's FG kickers suck. LSU is better in their special teams. But Bama has the defense that can choke the life out of a team. If Bama gets a lead, Richardson, Lacey and Fowler will settle in behind that Oline and run it down their throats and over them all night long.

Bama played one team with a top 75 offense, yet ESPN is blowing them for a great defense. This just in - all the qbs in the sec (with the exception of 1-2) suck. I think when you have your chance, at home no less and lose, thats it.
