Durito, first off I know we agreed to $1000 but I just cant do it. At the time this started I was making some decent extra cash with my RebateWager gig. That soon ended after the start of this and if this contest ended today and I had lost it would take a couple of paychecks to square things between us.

For the record the bet will remain $1000 but I think you deserve $500 rebate because you are so willing to put yourself out there with challenges likes this and others. That deserves some sort of reward in my book. We dont need to get into the reason you are so willing to do this, you do it is all that matters.

Also, I went back and read over the first couple of pages. I got wrapped up in how difficult this had become and thought I deserved a little payoff if I won. Deserve it or not looks like the last agreement was it would go to a poster. I will have to leave this up to GameLive to decide if I get a new driver or we spread it out over a poster or 2.

don't go screwing yourself at the first opportunity. That is NOT the way to become a winning gambler. You could've gotten 5/1 on this bet probably, now you want to go even money on 60%. :nono:

Reno, you are right but it's an ego thing with these challenges. If it weren't a friendly situation I would want odds but I like Durito. Besides I am just kicking around ideas nothing for real yet.

What part is messing you up Muddy?

I was pissed with Durito when I threw out this challenge. He's a good guy and I know that now and he deserves a break for being so willing. If I didn't like the guy or it was some random asshole I would gladly take full winnings.

If it's who gets the money part. Early on I threw out that it should go to a poster. So GameLive should decide which poster or posters should get the money or if I should be that poster.

Wally, you should keep the money. You put in the work every day and this was a damn hard challenge (at least I thought so).

Buy yourself that driver and pat yourself on the back for a doing a great job :)

Early on the hardest part was trying to make more than 1 play everyday or 2. In the end the hard part was having to deal with the adversity of baseball and the incredible swings. Reno and Muddy both talked about swings early on and during but when you actually start experiencing them it takes on a whole different dimension. All in all though it has been a pretty cool experience and has me wanting to consider a new challenge.

There was plenty of support but I think MrMonkey and especially Arch were there most frequently. Everyone who posted in this thread was positive and I appreciate that part a lot.

Wally, even if you are a 55% bettor then a fair line on you winning this challenge over 100 plays would be +536. Only over a sample of 10 games would the fair odds be in the 1:1 range.
