The way it works for me is, I know stuff when I find out about it. That's when I knew about AJ and CK - when I found out.

If I had never found out, I probably wouldn't know though.

I am noticing recently that I knew things that I forgot about and then when reminded I knew them am increasingly embarrassed that I forgot about them. Makes me wonder how many more things I will forget I knew and essentially know less than I know because of it. I think I dislike not knowing what I knew more than never knowing,
