I hold the belief that I shouldn't ask a girl to marry me until I have my own life in order... meaning a career path I can rely on. I'm not even concerned about being the "primary breadwinner", so much as I just don't ever want to be a burden on my future family.

So, maybe its a year? Maybe its 10? We'll see. But we love each other, that's what counts.

Sorry I've been away for so long. Not that I'm "back" or anything per se, just wanted to drop in and say hello.

Still working with this local ticket broker, as well as a few little ventures on the side. Trying to teach myself/get into web design, so we'll have to see how that goes.

When I'm NOT working or hanging out with the GF/friends, I'm keeping busy with playoff hockey, fantasy baseball, and of course, video games.

Hope you all are doing well. I'm sure I'm missing out on all kinds of fun/drama.
 
these excuses suck

60 hours a week doesn't mean you can't find 5 minutes to log on and tell us what's up

you don't have to read all the drama threads created by casper and the ghosts, or all plom's weird threads. Even I don't do that. just a quick hi like a few posts above is fine.

We sell tickets to sports, concerts, and theater events. Some he owns, some he gets from other brokers and marks up. I don't do sales, just social media and other odds and ends around the office.

Fair point. Everyone on the board has shit going on off the board, so indeed, it isn't an excuse. Just what's keeping me busy. I intended/intend to stop by every now and then, but these weeks have been going by really fast!
