Big week for the Scientologists. New SuperPower center AND Leah Remini voted off DWTS tonight.

Borderline catholic upbringing. Strange stuff. My dad stopped going to church when I was really young. My mom made me go with her nearly every Sunday, but neither of my parents ever said a word about God. Like, never never. And yet they had me go to Sunday school for awhile. Mixed messages.

My dad is pretty obviously atheist, but I'm not exactly sure what my mom had going on. Maybe she just wanted to get out of the house.

I'm not sure how my twin and I decided we didn't believe in any of that shit very early on. Our whole family is fairly religious, even our Mom brought up our atheism last weekend during the baby shower, saying how surprised she was when we told her that as teens. She's a convinced believer.

To us it was always silly stories in a book.

But.

I was confirmed and am about to get married before God.

All Mickey Mouse bullshit. Whatevs.
