Winnipeg Jets forward Rick Rypien dead at age 27

The family of NHL player Rick Rypien has confirmed via Twitter that the 27-year-old passed away on Monday. “R.I.P Rick Rypien, I love you so much and will miss you more than anything!” tweeted his cousin, Angela Rypien.
According to various media reports, the RCMP do not suspect foul play in Rypien’s death. His body was reportedly discovered by a family member in his Crowsnest Pass, Alta. home.
