I keep falling asleep on these 1-0 games. And please don't count the empty net goal as a goal in the total to make it appear the game was high scoring. They just build a wall in front of the goalie and hoping a lucky puck will get in and then try to defend it. Extremely boring.

you should bet all the unders and NOT watch them if you are so confident that there are so many 1-0 games.... Making money is not boring.

beyond that, just think of it like soccer. If you are a fan of the game, and/or played it. you apreciate the little nuances and can be entertained by well executed team play on both sides.

you don't need scoring to make a sport entertaining if you know how to appreciate the skill levels displayed in aspects other than raw scoring.

Like I said, think of the things you would say, when non-soccer fans say world cup soccer is boring.

it applies to hockey for guys like plommer I guess?

I think the strategy is what makes it boring. As soon as one team scores then it's all defense. I can understand this strategy if it was a single elimination game (like a World Cup knockout game) but this is a 7 game series. Who wants to see this every night? I think if the ratings are low the NHL will tell the coaches to open up on future games so there could be value betting overs or puck lines in the upcoming games.
