The truth is I am not as symmetrical as I might pretend.
When I was born, I had ears that stuck out like a member of the royal family. The way they dealt with that back then - almost 50 years ago - was a pinning back technique combined with a head wrap which was basically a cast I wore on my noggin for a length of time in kindergarten which I called my football helmet.
It basically worked. As you can see from my pic, my ear angle is pretty normal. However on closer inspection you would find that my ears don't match. My right ear is pretty normal however my left ear is all gnarly at the top. It looks like it has been chewed on for awhile by hungry dingo pups.
So no, not symmetrical.
But that's okay. It's what's in the heart that counts, right?
