Well it's the pain in the ass of a shoe but a sneaker.

Now since it's leather you have to be concerned about matching attire, you can't wear them with shorts and the weather is a concern.

Haven't bought a pair in a few years ...... but last couple sneakers were plain white ones .....

They're super light. You're not supposed to walk long distances in leather-soled shoes but whatevs. They're shoes. I walk a mile to work and back, those AE's feel amazing.
